I'm sure you, like me, are aghast that someone could die from ingesting that much Bacon...but I left a wordout of the original headline. "Rectally". Yes. That is correct. A man ingests 10lbs of Bacon rectally, and dies.
Now I'm not that surprised. Bacon is meant to be eaten. That's why it tastes so good. Who would go shoving Bacon up their jamper?
Who does that?
Well apparently this man did. His name was Joshua Flaherty of Brunswick, New Jersey. And he died of a bacterial infection from a gastrointestinal perforation....really?
Ok...a small amount of research and a thorough reading of the article leads me to believe this is a farcical article...it better be! Who shoves Bacon up there ass?
Anyway...here's the full article as well as a video with some guy wearing a Bacon dress...some messed up stuff out there today.

The Foodie's Favourite Breakfast Places
I follow The Foodie on Twitter and he recently posted and article to his website about his favourite breakfast places in Cape Town. It got me thinking...what are my favourite breakfast places around Durban. The only place I could think of was going to the Shongweni Market for a Saturday morning breakfast - the omelette is great, but I hear the falafel is really fantastic.
Take a look at his site and check out the article on breakfasts in Cape Town - worth a read if you're looking for somewhere to eat!

Kraft makes a website out of Bacon
It has been pointed out to me that Kraft (who have recently renamed their snack business as Mondelez) have recently been part of a campaign for their Sharp Cheddar and Bacon meal. Sounds like a pretty good meal to me! Cheese. Bacon! Top!
Anyway...they built a website out of Bacon. The Bleacher Report in fact - which turns out to be a pretty good sports site. What they did was put a button on the site which when pressed covered the site in greasy Bacon smoke, then when the air cleared the site was pretty much made out of Bacon. Real Bacon - none of that CGI crap.
They even made a movie of it, so we can see it now that the button is no longer on their site.
It certainly looks pretty tasty!
