Bacon Croutini

Basically it is Croutons : Bacon.
Yes. That is the description! It goes for R12.99 and is perfect for adding to soups and salads...sounds good to me!
Although on further inspection it contains now Bacon! All sorts of other things in there, including Caramel, but no Bacon - what's that about?

Coffee and Bacon Infused Vodka
Over on Wired Ken Denmead is creating his own Coffee and Bacon infused Vodka.
He's written up the whole process and it certainly doesn't sound too complicated - he's not distilling his own vodka - just infusing coffee and Bacon to a store bought bottle of vodka.
And by his accounts it came out pretty well.
He then goes on to make a Breakfastini - 2 parts coffee/bacon vodka, 1 part sweet vermouth, shaken with crushed ice and strained into a martini glass, and served with a stick of Bacon!

No such thing as a micro Pig!
A couple in the UK are surprised that their "Micro" Pig, which started off fitting in a tea cup is now weighing in at 158kg! That is huge! And would make some great Bacon!

SPAR and Bacon

Not sure what SPAR are up to there, but it looks like Bacon is like one of those high-theft items. The only way you can now get it is by asking a member of staff!

Epic Mealtime have released an Epic Mealtime Smart Phone App!
It's available here for iPhone and here for Android.
For Android, here in South Africa it'll cost you R16.49 - I guess that's around US$2.
And in the iTunes store its US$2. So same price in both.
Test it out and let us know what you think.
